This morning the Tris, Kev and Sam Ross headed over to Ringstead for a dawn raid. This spot is not super consistent and takes quite a few factors to work … some west in the wind direction and a solid lump of ground swell, which has to coincide with a high tide. This morning the tide was dropping as the guys entered the water at 07:15, but the waves were too good to miss, so they decided to take their chances and head out through the key-hole downwind of the reef. Each sailor only got 3 waves before the wind dropped and they had to head on to moderate an Instructor course at the centre, but those three waves were definitely worth the effort of the early. Thanks to Maisie Squibb for the photos.
