The Royal Navy Sailing Association (RNSA) had their AGM at the WPNSA this weekend just gone, with the association’s windsurfing fraternity using the weekend as an opportunity for a bit of a get together and demo day. Formula World Champion Ross Williams returned to the centre to meet the Navy crew and provide some Gaastra / Tabou demo gear, whilst Ian Kraft was on hand on Saturday with his Exocet fleet of boards. Whilst sunny but windless on Saturday, giving a chance for everyone to catch up and discuss the 2013 toys, Sunday delivered the goods, allowing everyone to get out and try out the equipment.
Here are some photos to give you a taste of the day – Ross cruising around at mach 2 giving everyone tips, with lots of the BSA familiars turning up later for some informal racing around the harbour. 18-25knots, sunny and reasonably warm. Lets hope the cold snap predicted for the next few days is short-lived and the winds return next weekend for some more of the same!
Thanks to Andy Stallman yet again for the photos.
